Lyme Disease Mimics A Vast Number of Other Diseases

Lyme Disease Mimics A Vast Number of Other Diseases

It has been established, here, that, like syphilis, Lyme mimics a vast number of other diseases. This is a result of the insidious nature of the infection, as the Lyme spirochete alters its state, morphologically, to cause a state of chronic infection and inflammation. The immune system being thus destabilized, virtually any syndrome could develop, which would cause great confusion in diagnosis.Through personal experience with the disease it easy to recognize at least some of the diseases it mimics. These diseases include chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, tendonitis, synovitis, single joint arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, Guillain-BarrО syndrome, ALS, polymyalgia rheumatica, and MS. This writer experienced a degree of all of these. Too, just as syphilis methodically eats away at the body, so does Lyme. In fact, syphilis does cause the same kind of presentation as seen in Lyme, particularly neuroborreliosis.
In 1913 Noguchi demonstrated the presence of Treponema pallidum (syphilitic spirochete) in the brain of a progressive paralysis patient, proving that the spirochete was the cause of the disease. A number of other investigators have determined its disease mimics, including the M.D.s Jo Anne Whitaker and Svetlana Ivanova. Their compiled list of potential Lyme disease- and/or co-infection infestation-induced conditions and/or syndromes includes:

  • acrodermatitis chronica atrophicans (ACA)
  • Alzheimer’s disease
  • Bell’s palsy
  • irritable bowel syndrome
  • lupus
  • Parkinson’s disease
  • reflex sympathetic dystrophy
  • scleroderma
  • syphilis
  • acute atrioventricular block
  • arrhythmia
  • attention deficit disorder
  • attention deficit hyperactivity disorder
  • Tourette’s syndrome
  • cranial polyneuritis
  • chronic depression
  • anxiety neurosis
  • encephalopathy
  • insomnia and other sleeping disorders
  • visual deterioration
  • meningitis
  • myocarditis
  • cardiomyopathy
  • neuritis

That is a massive number of conditions, and there surely are others besides those which Lyme infection mimics. Yet, this list alone proves the great corruption caused by thispathogen, giving even greater cause for the value of spice oils as preventive and therapeutic agents.
The joint pathology is also variable. Often, it begins in the knee. In fact, swelling in the knee, along with pain and stiffness combined with fatigue, is virtually confirmatory of the disease. At any point, though, it might strike new joint areas. This is true both of early and late presentations. Other joints which are commonly attacked by the Lyme bacillus include the hips, elbows, ankles, wrists, spinal column, and TMJ. Weight bearing joints are typically compromised. People can be readily crippled by the disease, even ending up wheelchair bound. This is particularly true when the Lyme bacillus attacks the knee joints.
From the aforementioned it becomes clear that the three systems hit hardest in Lyme disease are the joints, the skin, and the nervous system but also the immune system, which is severely battered by the spirochete. It is also important to note that the attack on the joints can come in bouts. A week or even weeks after the tick bite, suddenly, without any trauma or other obvious cause a joint or several joints become swollen, painful, and inflamed. It truly is a disease by stealth.
The swelling and pain caused by the Lyme invader are bizarre. An involved joint can become dramatically swollen, causing a great degree of pain. Parts around the joint are exceedingly painful to touch. In the knee the aching from the swelling can become intense, brutally so. Other than in that highly destructive disease rheumatoid arthritis it is a novel kind of pain, swelling, and inflammation not seen in any other syndrome. The pain it seems, arises from the deepest recesses of the joint sockets; clearly, the Lyme spirochete is clearly deeply invading the joint capsule, where it hides.
In fact, the germ seems to have a predilection for human connective tissue. There is some evidence that it consumes it as food. As a result of such a diabolical attack the capsule tissues respond with the production of excessive amounts of synovial fluid. This fluid accumulates in the joint capsule, leading to swelling and pain. The only way to fully cure such joint corruption is to completely clear the Lyme spirochete from the body. People often don’t know what they are dealing with. Most doctors don’t know that the vague joint symptomology and pathology could be borrelia. Lyme is essentially syphilis-like infection, the former also being caused by a spirochete, known medically as Treponema pallidum. Lyme was created on the basis of the spirochete as a novel pathogen. It is seemingly a form of syphilis. Like the latter, it can be transmitted sexually. Too, just as there is a condition in syphilis known as neuro-syphilis, that is infestation of the brain and spinal cord with the syphilitic spirochete, the same occurs in Lyme, that is neuroborreliosis. Plus, it is a chronic kind of infestation, meaning that the brain and spinal cord are under continuous siege by the pathogen, which preferentially multiplies in such tissues.
A war must be waged to root such spirochetes out of the nervous system tissue. These germs are geared for readily invading nerve cells. This may explain the fact that Lyme frequently relapses as a result of stress, since the latter weakens the immune capacities of such cells as well as the cells of the bone marrow and immune system itself.
It is crucial to root it out, but it is also essential to strengthen the cells of the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves. Too, it is crucial to strengthen the blood-brain barrier. This can be done through the proper diet along with nutritional supplementation, the supplements being derived exclusively from whole food sources and/or super-foods. Lyme spirochete has a significant capacity to breech this barrier. That’s why it is essential to empower it, to strengthen it to the maximum degree.
That breeching occurs in far more cases than is recognized. In fact, according to the latest research it is not merely neuro-Lyme that is caused by borrelia organism but, rather, entire categories of neuroglical diseases as well. That includes MS, ALS, Parkinson’s disease, and even Alzheimer’s disease.
